Agroamerica, besides being one of the biggest companies in the production and export of fresh fruit and palm oil, has two shipping companies and a logistics company in Guatemala.
Aldersa Transport is equipped with the latest technology for the management and control of goods. We have our own software to control logistics and office equipment. As well, all of the cargo containers in Guatemala are equipped with GPS units for added security and efficiency of the fleet. We provide transport services for refrigerated cargo and commercial port facilities to storage vessels and containers.
Our clients include: Maersk, Seatrade, Great White Fleet, Costa Mar, Dole, Fyffes, Del Monte, Texaco, CMA-CGM, MSC and Hapag Lloyd.
Aldersa Transport, S.A. is Guatemala’s second largest transportation company in terms of efficiency and total mileage. It averages 1.6 million kilometers per month.
Aldersa has a modern fleet of 220 trucks, 60 chassis, 60 gen-sets, 60 dredges, 20 vans and two trucks in addition to spacious container terminals located at each of the major Atlantic and Pacific ports in Guatemala.
Also has BASC certification (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce). They are dedicated to promoting and facilitating “global supply chain security standards and procedures, in partnership with business, governments, customs, law enforcement agencies and international business organizations.”
